Bookings

Regular walking places and ad-hoc walks are subject to availability. A free initial meet & greet is offered before a dog's first regular walk so routines, behaviour, access and special requirements can be discussed.

Payment

Prices will be confirmed before a booking is accepted. The method and due date for payment will be agreed with you as part of the booking arrangement. Any extra service or change in price will be discussed before it is charged.

Cancellations

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change a walk. Any notice period or cancellation charge applying to a regular booking will be confirmed before regular walks begin.

Owner responsibilities

Owners must provide accurate contact details, suitable equipment where required, current access instructions and any information reasonably needed to care for the dog safely. Owners remain responsible for ensuring their dog is legally owned or under their authority and that any required licences, vaccinations or veterinary advice relevant to the dog are up to date.

Behaviour and medical disclosures

Owners must tell Olivia about any known aggression, reactivity, bite history, escape behaviour, anxiety, allergies, injuries, medication, medical conditions or other issue that could affect the safety or welfare of the dog, Olivia, other animals or the public. Important changes should be shared before the next booked service.

Emergency veterinary treatment

If a dog appears to need urgent veterinary attention, Olivia will try to contact the owner or emergency contact first where practical. If delay could risk the dog's welfare and contact cannot be made, Olivia may seek veterinary assistance on the owner's behalf. Veterinary fees and related costs remain the owner's responsibility unless separately agreed.

Keys and home access

Where access is needed, key, key-safe or other entry arrangements will be agreed with the owner. Owners should notify Whispering Walks promptly if locks, codes or access arrangements change. Access information will be used only for providing booked services.

Transport

Collection and return is available by arrangement. Any transport arrangement will be discussed and confirmed before it forms part of the service.

Off-lead permission

Dogs will remain on lead unless the owner has expressly authorised off-lead exercise and Olivia considers the dog's recall, location and conditions suitable at the time. Owner permission does not guarantee that off-lead exercise will be used on every walk.

Weather and extreme heat

Dog welfare comes first. In extreme heat, storms, ice or other unsafe conditions, routes, pace or timing may be changed. A walk may be shortened or replaced with a toilet break or home visit where that is safer, with the owner informed as soon as reasonably possible.

GPS recording

Every completed dog walk includes a GPS walk report showing route, duration and distance. Reports are intended for the relevant customer and should not be taken as a guarantee of GPS accuracy. Example reports used publicly will not show a customer's exact home location.

Photos

Photos may be taken during a walk or visit to provide a customer update. Photos will not be used publicly for marketing without the owner's permission.
